All sorts of domestic drama and violence. A stolen lawn mower and a stolen converted dump truck that, well, didn’t seem to have an engine.

Loris/Longs/Green Sea
Criminal domestic violence high and aggravated nature (argument)/possession of crack cocaine | On July 23, a Longs woman, 21, and a Loris man, 20, were arguing about her going to Wal-Mart when he hit her several times and choked her. Witnesses on the scene confirmed that the incident had taken place.

Simple assault and battery (argument) | On July 24, a Longs woman, 45, asked a Florence man, 52, to leave her house because of an argument. The man hit her in the face and pinned her to the floor by sitting on her. She managed to grab an iron and hit him between the eyes.

Grand larceny| On July 20, someone took a lawn mower belonging to a Loris man, 52. The green-colored lawn mower has a missing headlight and is valued at $2,500.

Larceny of a light bar | On July 18, someone gained entry into the Loris Fire Station #17 and took the light bar off the top of a fire truck. The light bar is valued at $2,000.

Conway/Bucksport
Stolen vehicle | On July 19, someone took a vehicle belonging to a Conway man, 50. The vehicle is a 1974 International two-ton truck with a dump body, and it does not have an engine. The vehicle is valued at $3,500.
