Blow and McQueen's story's are VERY compelling, interesting and sad. It feels like commentary on the entire world of fashion. We all hope to have a circle of love to catch us when we fall don't we? (not a pun about her jump-I swear.) McQueen's former husband, George has lots of great stories in the news now about the fashion world, worth reading as they are well observed and astute. Ugh made for tv, I hope not. I would be so much better to see a dark and snarky SID AND NANCY meets WILL AND GRACE type film. I agree. That someone like her would be abandoned by those she helped does not speak well of her world. As a contrary point to her: I own lots of jeans and no suites. And, I do have friends that would help me. The NY Times link is a great read - highly recommended. The final injustice to Ms. Blow will surely be a poorly performed made-for-television movie on the USA Network. I cringe at the thought.
