Teens Busted for Creating Super Fast Office Chair
I’m very impressed by their feat, especially since their motorized chair has brakes. From what I’ve read, this chair may have been super duper fast, some reports calling it the WORLDS FASTEST OFFICE CHAIR. The cops are very hush hush about the top speeds attainable. If this contraption traveled at a poky speed no one would have cared. But if it were a well crafted piece of German Teen-engineering that zipped along at 35mph well then Police would have to get involved if only to protect the kids from their creation.
I’ve seen a red igloo cooler/mini bike hybrid that’s wicked cool and made by geniuses in a Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club. Recently I made the comment to a company that their bill took so long to get to me I could have covered the same distance in a quarter of the time while sitting in a office chair and scooting it down the street with my feet.Well if I had this chair I’d be there in no time at all!!
Speaking of scooting office chairs, does anyone recall the 16 bit video game Leisure Suit Larry?

German police seize teens’ motorized office chair

BERLIN (AP) — German police have confiscated what may be the world’s fastest office chair. Police say officers happened on the contraption — the work of two inventive 17-year-olds — in the western town of Gross-Zimmern on Saturday.
The pair had added a lawnmower engine, bicycle brakes and a metal frame to the revolving chair — making into a go-kart-like vehicle.
Police said in a statement Monday the inventors insisted they had only tested it over a few meters, but witnesses reported seeing it on several streets.
They are being investigated over a variety of possible offenses, including defying insurance regulations, driving without a license and violating registration requirements.
Police did not say what top speed the chair could reach.
