Cops taser kid over showering

The FBI is now investigating this case. According to other sources the child and mother quarreled over a pre bed time shower and  once the police showed up the child began acting out towards the officer and the mother consented to, if not asked for her child to be “tased.” Alas I am unable to link or embed video clips of the town Mayor Vernon McDaniel saying that the officer followed all protocol and  said it’s a “a shame to see a child tased.” I agree with  Mayor McDaniel.

(Ozark, AR) — An Ozark, Arkansas police officer has been suspended with pay after tasing a 10-year-old girl.

According to a police report, officer Dustin Bradshaw was called to the girl’s home last week.

He reported the girl was acting violently.

After her mother gave officers permission to use their taser, Bradshaw gave the girl a shock to her back.

The city’s mayor is calling for an independent investigation of the matter.

Apparently, the policy was followed, but at the same time you still hate to see a 10-year-old tased,” said Mayor Vernon McDaniel. “That’s why we must, if at all possible, try to get an outside agency to investigate.”

McDaniel wants the FBI to investigate.

The Arkansas State Police have declined to look into the matter.
