Thanks for the information on smoking, and escaped animals. The "Last Night Smoking" part was very interesting.

We recently wrote an article on smoking at Brain Blogger. Recently, a lot of areas across the globe have banned smoking in public areas. Is this right; is smoking really that much of a problem? Is so much of a problem that Brazil must take their ad campaigns to a disturbing level?

We would like to read your comments on our article. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Kelly

Since it has now been revealed that you own some sort of "station", will you consider airing re-runs of the 60s "Batman" tv series? I haven't seen them in years.

Thanks very much.

I do not doubt an interesting chain of events lead to Kaminski's actions, but this isn't www.kaminsky.com.

Attempting armed robbery with a bottle of Stetson cologne (not even a toy gun) is a supremely hilariously, idiotic, and malicious act. You say he "Wouldn't hurt a fly" but he was trying to rob people, with a "gun" and real guns can kill. Robbery is illegal and morally wrong. Even toddlers know the concept of "mine."

Addiction as a legal defense? It's been tried and doesn't work, better he plead temporary insanity. Addiction as a moral defense? For your next google spree, I suggest the word "enabler."

You wrote 3 notes, but do you know where you are sending them? Under the headline, there's byline info, which you not doubt missed in your zeal. Perhaps a little further reading on this site would elucidate you as to the origin of most of it's content.

However, per your strenuous suggestions I'm firing myself and am quite ashamed and feel simply vile. Though I am pleased to find out I now own a "station."

This is such BS, this man is an accomplished musician and artist. Your reporting is not accurate, he was beaten to a pulp after the cologne bottle fell to the ground. Shameful and you should be ashamed of yourself for writing such a vile article about a good man with a terrible addiction who had a fake gun and a little knife his Grandfather had given him when he was a little boy. You should be fired for that vile article.

This man is a fine muscian and artist struggling with an addiction. He did something foolish under the influence. The man that beat him up continued to beat Michael as he lay on the ground while women were pleading with this martial arts guy to stop beating Michael. I believe Michael should sue this man who beat him for everything he has and then some. He knew Michael was only five feet five, maybe, 120 pounds and he kicked him and nearly beat him to death. Any police man that would have done that would be sued for police brutality. Shameful. I think Mike has an excellent case here.

I found your tone of this content offensive. You did a poor job of reporting on this incident. This man, Michael Kaminski was the lead guiartist for the NYC rock band, Cop Shoot Cop. He has toured all over Europe and England, settling back in NYC. He unfortunately moved back to Akron to be near his family. He has an addiction. He took a toy gun and attempted to do something very desperate. When he dropped the toy gun (Cologne bottle) he was beaten nearly to death by some idiot who thinks he is a marital arts dude. Shameful. Shame on your station and you for reporting such inaccurates in dealing with the real story behind this incident. He never would hurt even a fly and this creep beat him up and was asked to stop and he continued to beat Michael up. I hope Michael sues that man for everything he has.

I am not a fashion person, but I find the tragic tale of Ms. Blow to be oddly compelling. That someone like her would be abandoned by those she helped does not speak well of her world.

As a contrary point to her: I own lots of jeans and no suites. And, I do have friends that would help me.

The NY Times link is a great read - highly recommended.

The final injustice to Ms. Blow will surely be a poorly performed made-for-television movie on the USA Network. I cringe at the thought.
